Great news.
Canal Street Station has gotten through the permitting process and am looking forward to this project being a reality.
It will be 250 rental units (workforce housing) with 20% at 60% AMI (the highest ratio of affordability for a private development). It’s also very sustainable (all electric, EV charging at 10%, more bicycle parking than units and solar PV) and resilient (restoration of wetlands and significant flood mitigation).
